i started to masturbate when i was only 5 years old.i didnt know how i learnt it or how i started but i knew it was something i wanted to do and not let anyone know about it.i think it was a guilty feeling and i knew it was a sexual gratification but at that age i enjoyed it.i used to do something strange like crossing my right leg over the left till it causes pressure to my genitals and i would move my body in a way that i could have a pumping effect in my vagina by contracting and releasing and actually get the feeling of sex. i even start touching my body parts as sex but i never learnt sex from anywhere.i am surprised that i could do such a thing at that age and why was i sexually aware at that age.i have been addicted till this day(age 41 not married)
i try very hard to stop but always fail.and times i have actuall stopped over a period of 3 months but fail.i also feel that when i grew up as an adolosent i started to fatasize a man that i would imagine having sex with.i know its wrong but its such a strong feeling that i just need to do it .sometimes its overpowering and i start doing it in public but then i get away in privacy and get a fullblown attack.
i feel exhausted and guilty and sometimes i feel like i want to actually put an object.i wish i can stop and i always need ghusal.
i think its psychological. i know what i have written is sickening and many may feel offended but i need someone to help me

I was reading about masturbation, and trying to decide whether it wrong, it seems wrong, but my question is , im only 17 and female, and i obviously cant get married, but cant help wanting to do it, its so frustrating just cuz i get turned on so easily.. if i dont think bad thoughts with guys o anything, does that still make it wrong? i feel like there is no other way to relieve sexual tension its annoyingg!!! plese sum1 help

masturbation..It is possible to stop this act it has been done, it is haraam, it can be very time wasting and become an obsession, it is easily paired with pornography, also it is accompanied by a feeling of emptiness. Just stop it after a while it will get easier u may have times when the desire is intense but it doesnt last long, it can be done, do it for gods pleasure. When the desire becomes intense ask allah for strength sincerely- watch u will get it.

just like anything, one should not dwell like a freak at the thing itself, but look at its causes. Doing that is an action, and it is the product of thought. If we protect our minds, then it will never produce such results. Keep the mind busy, lower gaze, and never let thoughts wander. Thoughts lead to action, so protect your mind. Don’t even let the smallest of thoughts invading it, read a book, get a hobby, go learn deen, workout, etc.

This is applicable to anything in life, look at causes rather than the results. Stop checkin out women, honestly- that’s a cause. Even looking is zina of the eyes.

Protect your mind, if the lens of a camera is dirty, all of nature’s wonders will appear dirty and blury. Protect your eyes, learn to appretiate the flooring of your life, lol, lower ur gaze.

1.)Pray 5 times a day, the SEcond adhan goes on- and pray as slowly as possible. Salah keeps all away from indecency- trust me, just try it.

2.)Be careful of your thoughts, your thoughts lead to actions.

1. sincere repenting to Allah
2. Feeling of dislike and loath to the act
3. Promise of never returning

Hi all, I am a Muslim living in Sri Lanka. I was not very religious, not praying, just going for Friday prayers, watching porn movies and masturbating a lot. But since recently, All mighty Allah has made me realized that I am going in the wrong direction. Now my life has changed. I pray five times and engage in all other good deeds. I am an Accountant by profession but now I want to get educated in Islam. That is do something like a Bsc in Islam / Islamic financial qualification.
I want to stop masturbating and recently I have done quite ok bottling it up. But the issue is if I don’t do it for about two weeks, I tend to discharge during my sleep and this effects my Subau / Thahajath prayers because it does not agree with me when I try to bath at that time of the night (sometimes might turn into a sneeze, wheeze, but not always) and to be frank it’s a bit embarrassing to do so as well.
So now I do it like once in every two weeks just to avoid the wet stuff during sleep so that it won’t affect my prayers. But still feel bad about it because there are claims that it is harm.
Any advice would be very helpful.

Repenting and being sincere about it, will gain Allah’s forgiveness, for Allah is the oft-forgiving one.
The point is, even if the deed in essence isn’t such a wrong one(health hazards), it’s practice is a harmful one.
On what do you masturbate?
I mean that would usually mean on adult images, this would mean you would either purchase or visit those sites or whatever, which results in supporting the sinners to sin more.
Because you become part of their market, and they will want to supply that need, thus sin even more, and this will degrade humanity even further.
Do you want to masturbate on thoughts concerning women you know?
Can you do this without somehow having psychological consequences, like being weird around that person in real life, or restraining yourself while all the time thru fantasy you have conditioned yourself to feel these aroused feelings with the thought of that person?
Do you find it normal to have these fantasies about another’s daughter/sister/wife ?
It’s hard to abstain but not impossible.
Turn towards Allah, and don’t approve these things!
