His friend Scott Lucas who is older than him and has done work on hadith and law teaches at Arizona's NES department. His friend Ovamir Anjum who is a scholar of Islamic political thought and Ibn Taymiyya teaches at the university of Toledo's Philosophy department. Allah guided him in college while he was at Georgetown for undergrad - just like me, alhamdulilaah. I think he was a sophomore when I was a senior. I remember he would always be studying arabic so diligently in the Copley prayer room when I would go down to pray, masha allah.
