My Favorite MSA movie from MIST

Salaam Alaykum Wa Rahamtullah,

I really enjoyed this movie/short film, it was very well done, it had very deep meaning to it. The thing that I think sets this movie apart from other movies is that, this was a totally serious movie while the rest of them were very comical. Enjoy. (Warning: Movie has music in it!!)

Oh yea BTW Masha’Allah they won first place in MIST Nationals this year – 2006! Congratulations!!! Alhamdulillah!!!!

My favorite part: “I was sitting in the masjid and a man wearing white came in. He looked so calm and serene. He prayed and read something from a book. He later walked up and introduced hismelf to me. He gave me the Quran. He said that it was The Truth!!! Finally, thats what I needed to hear – The TRUTH!!”(not 100% exact words but close enough)

Masha’Allah this above part just sends a shiver down me everytime I think about it.

Masha’Allah the Austin high School MSA guys always have the serious movies with a very deep meaning. I always palced them on top every year, Alhamdulillah, this year they finally won!!!

As Salaam alaykum Wa Rahamtullah.

    As-Salaamu ‘Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi,

This wasnt one of my all-time favorites for MIST but it was done nicely, Masha-Allaah. I give them much props.

There was one movie done by a MD girl (dont know if you saw it) but Masha-Allaah, it had a nice theme.

Was-Salaamu ‘Alaykum Wa Rahmatulllaahi Wa Barakaatuh.

Yeah, that one by Sr. Hader. Awesome movies mashaAllah, MIST nationals must have been great. Unfortunately I was too busy studying to go *throws MCAT book out of the window in anguish*.

But inshaAllah next year. The Katy one was hilarious, (minus the music), especially the magic carpet scene.

There were only like 7 DC MIST people??
