Over a year ago I listened to a few lectures about the Fiqh of Siyaam, and really liked them and decided to take some comprhensive notes on those lectures. The lectures were by Salim Morgan and he explained a commentary to a popular Hanbali text. The commentary is called Manar As Sabeel Fee Sharh Ad Daleel and the Hanbali text is called Ad Daleel at Talib. I will be posting up all my notes from these sessions insha-Allah. My notes basically have the ruling issued by the Shaykh Ibraheem ibn Duwaiyan (d. 1353 AH), May Allah have Mercy upon him. There were a few issues in which I had changed the ruling because I learned another ruling from other teachers and started to follow that ruling. Here are the table of contents for the entire lecture series. I plan on finishing posting up all my notes from all the sessions on the fiqh of fasting a few days before the end of Sha’baan. There are about 30 points, some very short compared to others, while some very long. 30 points in 20 days(23-24 dys to Ramadhaan) is very reasonable. I have also included the contents on the sidebar for easy navigation insha-Allah.
